Overview:
A unique silicone emulsion cream for the control of rising dampness. Heyen Injection cream can be used in all types of masonry. Without the use of high pressure equipment. The cream is delivered by hand pressure from a simple displacement pump and injector lance into a series of holes drilled into the mortar coarse. The cream migrates rapidly into the masonry pores where it reverts to a liquid phase and polysiloxanes are formed to prevent the ingress of moisture.

Installation:
HEYEN Injection Cream is injected into a 12mm diameter holes drilled horizontally in the mortar bed at centres no greater than 120mm. The depth of hole is dependent upon the wall thickness - refer to product data sheet. Each hole should be back filled fully with HEYEN Injection cream to within 1cm of the surface. when treating cavity walls from one side, make certain that the holes in each leaf are filled. (Please see the table below).

Re-Plastering:
When injecting a damp proof course salt contaminated plasterwork must be renewed. It is important that re-plastering specification is strictly adhered to and that the plasterer carrying out the work is made aware that it is important that the re-plastering is carried out to a specification in accordance with insertion of a new chemical damp proof course. Please call for a re-plastering specification.
